Typically, shipments leaving our facility are shipped by common carriers in (USA) is free (UPS, FedEx, USPS), LTL (less than a truckload), full truckload or container depending on the load size and final destination.

In addition to providing a full suite of shipping options we offer our customers the ability to arrange their own shipping or come to our facility to pick up orders in person.

Normally, we prepare orders in 1-5 days of payment receipt with a domestic US shipment taking from 1 to 3 days to arrive at their destination. Container and international shipments may take longer.

If buyers choose to use our shipping, then shipments are insured for the full value of the load.

Parcel Shipping (Fed Ex, UPS, USPS)

Parcels are small individual shipments such as boxes and cartons that are delivered using common carriers such as FedEx, UPS or USPS. Pricing of parcel shipments is determined by the “dimensional weight” or actual weight of the package being shipped.

Our facilities have a daily pickup window arranged with FedEx, UPS and USPS to handle all of our partial shipments. FedEx and UPS have a limit of 200 lbs. and 250” in length plus girth for packages they will accept. Anything larger will need to be shipped via a freight shipping method.

Customers who wish to utilize parcel shipping can have us arrange shipping or arrange the shipment themselves and supply us with a shipping label.

Parcel Restrictions by Carrier:

  • FedEx / UPS
  • Packages can be up to 200 lbs (100kg).

Packages can be up to 165 inches (419 cm) in length and girth combined.

  • Packages can be up to 108 inches (270 cm) in length.
  • USPS:
  • Packages can be up to 100 lbs (50kg).

Packages can be up to 108 inches (270 cm) in length and girth combined.

  • Freight Shipping

Freight is larger quantities of merchandise loaded onto pallets that are shipped by land, sea or air. Generally, freight shipments are outside the normal parcel size or weight that common carriers like UPS or FedEx allow.

Types of Freight and Freight Modes

  • LTL (Less Than Truckload)

LTL freight shipments are shipments that do not completely fill a truck trailer. LTL shipments consist of between 1 and 6, 40”x48” pallets. Given that most freight trailers on the road in the US today are 8’ – 8.5’ wide, 12.5’ – 13.5’ high and 40’ – 53’ long several LTL shipments can be loaded into a single trailer.

We sell LTL loads of 1, 3 and 6 pallet configurations. Less commonly we also sell 12 pallet configurations which can be sent using two (2) LTL shipments or a partial truckload. If you use two (2) LTL shipments, loads can be consolidated into the same trailer.

Please keep in mind when ordering pallets that you need to be able to receive them properly. Most trucks do not come with a lift gate meaning you will need a loading dock to receive your order.

If you are receiving your shipment at a residential address you MUST request a truck with a lift gate when receiving an LTL order. Also, if you plan on receiving an LTL load at a residence please keep in mind the driver will unload your shipment curbside. You will need to then move it yourself to your garage or storage container.

  • Partial Truckload

Partial truckload shipments as the name implies do not completely fill the truck but are handled in a similar fashion to full truckload shipments. Partial truckload shipments are generally heavier and larger than LTL shipments.

We don’t typically sell partial truckload shipments and work to consolidate pallets into either LTL or full truckloads for customer convenience and cost savings. However, in certain cases a partial truckload may make the most sense to ship an order. The most common “partial truckload” configuration we sell is 12 pallets. Customers can choose to use a partial truckload or two (2) LTL shipments to ship a 12 pallet order, whichever is the more economical choice.

  • FTL (Full Truckload)

Full truckloads are freight shipments that may completely fill a trailer. Most transport trailers in the US are between 48’ and 53’. A 53’ trailer can hold 26, 40”x48” pallets single stacked (under 4-5 feet tall) or 52 double stacked pallets. Weight limits for truckload shipments are subject to local laws but generally range between 34,000 – 45,000 lbs. in the United States.

Typically, we sell full 26 pallet truckloads which you will see have the word “truckload” in their listing title. When pallets can be double stacked you will see the listing say “truckload” but will have 52 pallets not the normal 26.

If you are ordering a full truckload please ensure you have the ability to unload the order when it arrives. Drivers will not help you unload your shipment and normally you have a 2 hour window to get the shipment unloaded before you incur penalties.

  • Sea Freight / Ocean Freight

Ocean freight is a shipment transported via a ship from one port to another. Shipments can be organized into FCL (full container load) or LCL (less than container load). Typical ocean freight container lengths are 20’, 40’ and 53’. Oftentimes, sea freight is utilized in combination with land based shipping methods in order to get the merchandise to port.

  • International Shipments – Customs

We utilize the services of a customs broker to help our clients facilitate international shipments including land based border crossings to and from Canada. Please contact our customer support for assistance in arranging international shipments (Call +19704394645) or use the live chat below).
